Spartano S.R.L. ("Spartano," "we," "us") operates Revolytics, a service that helps Amazon sellers automate review requests and monitor reviews and returns. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights available to you.
1. Who We Are
Revolytics is operated by Spartano S.R.L., acting as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at info@spartano.it for any privacy-related question or request.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Account data you provide
When you register for Revolytics, we collect the information you give us directly: your name, business name, email address, and any other details you provide when creating an account or contacting us.
2.2 Data received through the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API)
Once you connect your Amazon Seller account, Revolytics accesses a limited set of data through the official Amazon SP-API, strictly to provide the service: order identifiers and delivery status, marketplace and listing (ASIN) information, return and refund metadata, and publicly available product review content and ratings.
We do not collect or have access to the personal contact details of your buyers. Review requests are sent by triggering the Amazon Solicitations API with an order identifier. Amazon composes and delivers the request internally, on its own systems. Revolytics never receives or stores a buyer name, email address, or shipping address as part of this feature.
2.3 Technical data
Like most online services, we may log basic technical information for security and reliability purposes, such as IP address, browser type, and access timestamps, when you use our website or application.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and operate the Revolytics service, including detecting delivered orders, triggering review requests, and generating review and return analytics.
- To maintain the security, integrity, and proper functioning of our systems.
- To communicate with you about your account or respond to your requests.
- To comply with our legal obligations and with the Amazon Data Protection Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
The legal bases for this processing are the performance of our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service (Art. 6(1)(f)), and, where applicable, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
4. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell personal data. We share data only where necessary to operate the service:
- Amazon: as the platform and API provider, governed by the Amazon privacy and data protection policies.
- Infrastructure providers: we host our systems on cloud infrastructure such as Google Cloud (including Firestore) and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS), acting as our data processors under a data processing agreement.
5. International Data Transfers
Our infrastructure providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognized under GDPR Chapter V, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect your data.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and order-related data for as long as your account is active, and for up to 30 days after account closure to allow for recovery requests, unless a longer period is required by law.
7. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority: in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
8. Security
We use HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, OAuth-based authorization for Amazon account access (Amazon credentials are never shared with or stored by Revolytics), and access controls appropriate to the sensitivity of the data involved.
9. Cookies
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. It loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which may involve a request to servers operated by Google. If we introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and request consent where required.
10. Use by Minors
Revolytics is a business tool intended for Amazon sellers and is not directed at, nor knowingly used to collect data from, children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the effective date above whenever changes are made and, for material changes, notify registered users directly.
